Being a Scout
Scouts is the fourth Scout Section, for children aged 10½-14. As a Scout, you’ll get the chance to try a range of exciting activities and go on new adventures. Here’s everything you need to know.

When do we meet?
We have currently got 1 Scout Troop that operate during the school term within our Scout Group:
Scout Troop – Thursdays – 7.15pm – 9.00pm
Cost is £12 per month (covers annual membership fee and general programme). Any additional activities and camps are charged separately.
We currently have limited places in the Scout Troop.
What do Scouts do?

Earning Awards
By taking part in activities Scouts will earn badges that they can proudly wear on their uniform.
Completing all the challenge badges will earn Scouts the Chief Scout’s Gold Award.

Scout Volunteers
All of our leaders are trained volunteers, working to make sure Scouting is safe, inclusive and accessible. Some lead the Troop week in and week out. Others visit occasionally to help run a session or drop in to share their skills. No matter how much time you have to spare, find out about volunteering on your own terms.
